No Spam, Please

If you use this link: DavidButlr at aol.com to send me email, you will notice that it contains the words NO-SPAM in the address (DavidButlrNO-SPAM@aol.com). To use this for a real email message, simply remove the extra characters. This change has been implemented to try and reduce the numbers of spam messages that I recieve.

The way this will help is that many spammers using programs to surf the web and blindly fill their databases with anything that looks like an email address. By adding in the extra words I am doing two things:

• Spammers will end up with an unusable email address.
• If they take the time to actually look at the address, they will see that I don't want ads for getting rich quick or changing some part of my body.

I hope you understand this slight inconvenience and if you really want to send me a note, I'd love to hear from you.
